Second & Third Floors

Woodside has been bustling with activity over the past couple of months! After we finished the second and third floor framing in January, our HVAC company, electricians and plumbers spent several weeks here completing their work upstairs. Our fireplaces were also installed, and we’ve been working on the blocking to get ready for drywall work to begin. Now that all the “behind the walls” work is complete, our spray foam insulation company will return this week to insulate the second and third floors.

We have come a long way; remember how I almost fell through the floor of the porch the first time we toured the house? It will probably be another four to five weeks before our drywall gets finished, and then we get to start painting and eventually … move upstairs!

  1. It’s really looking good….I kind of wish I would have tried to go in, when I was a young girl, and would walk by there…It would have been interesting…..So glad your family took it upon yourselves to take care of the old house……
